One day, the mouse decided to explore a nearby house. He was so excited to see what was inside that he didn't notice the cat that was lurking in the shadows. The cat pounced on the mouse and chased him around the house. The mouse was so scared that he ran into a room and hid in a corner.
The mouse was so relieved to have escaped the cat, but he soon realized that he was stuck in the room. He tried to find a way out, but all the doors were locked. He was so desperate to get out that he started to chew on the door handle.
After a few hours of chewing, the mouse finally managed to open the door and escape. He was so relieved to be free, but he had learned his lesson: never be too curious!
